This guide is suitable for both new players venturing into SC4 and veteran players who want to update their modpack or create a new one.

Before proceeding with the guide, which is divided into chapters covering various topics, please ensure that the requirements of the guide are met and that you are already familiar with the SimCity4 Vocabulary and Information Technology (IT) Vocabulary.

System Requirements

In order to follow this guide, the following system requirements must be met: 

• SimCity 4 version 1.641.0.0 (Also known as Windows Digital Version)
• Windows 11 or Linux 
• Minimum 8 GB of RAM
• Have at least SSD as mass storage
• SC4Pac (Mod Manager)
• Having a decent GPU 
• Stable Internet connection (required for SC4Pac and SC4MP)
• A Simtropolis Account

The requirements in red are considered mandatory in order to run the guide.
