Installation
Choose ONE mod file for the water/tiling version you wish to install and unzip to your plugins folder.
For use with Gobias' Terrain Mod/s: choose the "GB" file version.
For use with Lowkee's Terrain Mod: choose the "LK" file version.
Optional: Berner Oberland Shore Patch: If you are currently using the Berner Oberland Terrain Mod you may choose to install one of the enclosed Shore Patch files. This patch adjusts the transparency of the shore texture for greater opacity along the shoreline. This is NOT required but may provide a more optimal beach-to-shore transition. The Berner Oberland mod will continue to function properly whether or not you choose to make use of this patch.
To use the patch simply unzip ONE of the two patch files (depending on which altitude you are already using) to your plugins folder and remove the old BO Properties file from the Berner Oberland Terrain mod folder.

- BO Properties UPDATED Low Alt
NOTE: REGARDING "GB" and "LK" file versions:
Various terrain mods available on the LEX and STEX utilize different "Terrain Texture Tiling Factors" which is a parameter that controls the zoom or scale with which a terrain texture will display in-game.
The Gobias Berner Oberland Terrain Mod - and all future Gobias Terrain Mods - utilizes a .0976x tiling factor. This allows the game to tile a texture at roughly twice the size of the original MAXIS default. When used in conjunction with HD textures this setting allows higher resolution of terrain. It allows the modder to create more variety in detail while reducing texture-repetition but still preserves the sharpness of the original texture.
The Lowkee Appalachian Terrain Mod utilizes a .0488x tiling factor. At this setting a texture will appear at twice the size as it would with the Gobias .0976 setting (or 4x larger than the MAXIS default).
Since changes to this setting dramatically affects the appearance of scale I have included two different versions of each mod compatible with either Lowkee's tiling factor (.048x) or Gobias' tiling factor (.097x).
