The CAMeLot Counter reports the number of CAMeLots in your city.
The regional residential, commercial and industrial capacities are also reported, as well as the thresholds of these values that are required to enable each growth stage.

Three versions are included, all of which are rewards, with the following requirements:
  • The 2×2 Roundabout - 1 commercial CAMeLot has grown
  • The 3×3 Colossus Park - 10 industrial CAMeLots have grown
  • The 4×4 Colossus Park - 1 residential CAMeLot has grown

Once you have been rewarded any of these, you are not restricted to build only one of them. You can use them for several parks/roundabouts, always having access to the CAMeLot Counter report in all corners of your city.

  • introduction of the RJ_CAMeLot_Counter_Query_Essentials.DAT, that is replacing the former RJ_Colossus_Statue_and_Query.DAT without the model file - the model file has been restored in the BSC MEGA Props MISC Vol03
  • Since earlier the Colossus Farming Mod already introduced the agricultural stages (I-R/I-Ag) for stage 8, stage 9 and stage 10 lots, three additonal CAM I-Ag occupant groups have been added to the counter***:
    • 0xB5C00C28 - Stage 8 I-Ag
    • 0xB5C00C29 - Stage 9 I-Ag
    • 0xB5C00C2A - Stage 10 I-Ag

***Disclaimer: bear in mind these three stages are only existing in the Colossus Farming Mod currently (as of 21.05.2026), but it does not use the above listed Occupant Groups. These OGs were created for possible future developments and/or future updates. Currently there is not a single lot which would use these Occupant Groups, but they were added to this updated version of the counter as future proofing purposes. The SC4PIM-X (X-Tool) is currently NOT supporting automatically the creation of higher than Stage 7 I-Ag lots, such settings in the Colossus Farming Mod were made manually.

Compatibility:
This download is only compatible with SimCity 4 "Rush Hour" or SimCity 4 Deluxe.
Installation:
Installation: Copy/extract the BSC parent folder into your plugins. If you extracted the ~Documents folder into your plugins, too, it's highly recommended to keep it, but move it out of the Plugins folder.

Un-Installing: To un-install the files, simply bulldoze every lot from this download in your cities and delete the files from the plugins folder afterwards.

To avoid conflicts, please, it is highly recommended to use any of the third party cleanitol tools and remove any previous versions of these files from your plugins. In the ~Documents folder in the main ZIP you can find a Cleanitol_BSC RJ CAMeLot Counter.txt file and by using either the newer nos.17's SC4 Cleanitol or the older BSC Cleanitol tool you can search and remove old and outdated versions of these files.

Dependencies:
To ensure the proper functionality, make sure the files mentioned below are installed in the plugins folder.

**You can CHOOSE ONLY ONE texture style at a time, as the textures use the same ID's, the game will only use the last one loaded (i.e. last one alphabetically), so you should delete the texture files you don't want. Note that the base set also includes a file BSC_Park_Textures_zDefault.dat that should also be removed as it will override all the other files.

You would also want to have the Colossus Addon Mod. Otherwise you wouldn't get any CAMeLots growing.
Nightlighting:
In order to see the nightlighting, you must install the EP1-Update 1 for Rush Hour/Sim City 4 Deluxe, and then afterwards, install the SC4-Update for nightlighting (note: you have to be logged in in order to see the download link). If this update isn't installed, you won't see any lighting effects on custom BAT buildings.
Disclaimer:
The usage of this download is on your own risk. I try to test my lots extensively, so they should work properly, but errors may still exist. Feel free to modify the lots for yourself and show them in your city journals, but please don't distribute them without asking first.
