This SC4 Devotion LEX Legacy Pack features the transportation (bus, subway and railway station) lot sets by the legendary BSC BATer SimGoober (SG), which had been available on the Lot Exchange (LEX) at SC4 Devotion. It includes the contents of 6 previously separate downloads (including many contents that were only availabe on STEX), however the former Railway Lots Collection (released on the LEX DVD in this form) in this pack are covering around another 5 previously separate uploads from multiple exchanges like STEX, the former SimcityKurier/SimcityPlaza and the former PLEX.
After battling a number of technical issues, software incompatibility ultimately shuttered the LEX (at least in its familiar form from 2007 onward) in June 2023, and this package is designed to collect these dependencies in an easy-to-use form, allowing users to install them all in one go, or carefully select exactly which packs they wish to install.
Please note that this pack may receive updates in the near future. Do not redistribute without asking first, mostly as doing so would complicate efforts to properly maintain, update, and provide technical support for the pack.
Bear in mind, SimGoober released and kept some contents on the Simtropolis Exchange (STEX), but then later some of those files were rehosted on the SC4Devotion LEX site in an updated form. This current LEGACY compilation supersedes both the original STEX releases and the used-to-be re-hosted contents from LEX.
This upload is a combination of Caribiou's original Long Slope Transitions, that were released originally on his website almost two decades ago and the former Heretic-Caribou GLR Ramp Transition Relot set, that was released both on the former SC4Devotion LEX and on the STEX. Since the demise of Caribou's original site, his contents were restored on STEX as part of early community wide restoration efforts and later they were brought under the STEX Custodian umbrella.
This compilation contains the following:
- Caribiou's three original models and lot files
- the five lots, the props and the custom paths for El-Rail that were coming with the Heretic-Caribou GLR Ramp Transition Relot set
- an additional brand new lot to complement the set
- revised and extended custom network paths for both El-Rail and Rail to cover the ramps.
Beverley Station is a proud landmark in the agricultural wheatbelt town of Beverley, Western Australia. It can be found on the main line from Perth to Albany and was erected in 1886. It is believed the station was designed by George Temple Poole, with the design being reproduced on a small handful of other stations across the state. These are rare examples of fine Victoria Tudor style architecture, which is greatly admired and respected. it was sadly closed in October 1984, ending an era of rail travel. However, the building has recently undergone restoration work in an aim to preserve local history and architecture.
All marrast's stations are in this pack. They all now have been updated are current days NAM/MTA capacity and TSEC standards and have recieved Submenu DLL support. Please delete the files in the enclosed Remove List or use BSC Cleanitol TM to do the hard work for you.
There are 7 original stations, plus 3 additional station with HRW (Hybrid RailWay) support in this pack with variable capacities and supported travel types.
The first Beta 1 release of the High Speed Rail Project (HSRP) also included two kinds of tunnel models, were implemented as replacement for draggable monorail tunnel. For the puzzle-drag version of HSRP release by the NAM Team, the tunnels have been turned into props and lotted as subway converter in order to provide easy tunnel simulation.
M-TEL allows You to build one-ways and roads directly next to the tunnel entrance (on the slope). Firstly created for very specific purpose in Eladremme region, these lots become very desired by some of the Eladremme CJ visitors. So, finnaly, I've decided to share these lots. This zip contains two lots: mtel_1x13_road_ef347c30.SC4Lot and mtel_1x13_oneway_6f347c17.SC4Lot; The lots are available from the transportation tools menu, at the bottom of the miscellaneous transportation submenu.
