"VHS" is an abbreviation of Volkshochschule, or community college, in German. The original building stands on Cäcilienstraße at Neumarkt in Cologne, Germany. The unusual, banded entry facade is a bas-relief by the Italian sculptor Arnoldo Pomodoro.
This is my first BAT and was created to begin to fill a shortage of long, low-rise commercial buildings in SC4. Three versions of the lot will be installed: a college, a growable 5x2 CO §§ stage 6, and a ploppable LM CO §§ with jobs (included as CO lots of these dimensions are difficult to grow).
Libraries are not generally the most distinctive buildings in the world, but Alsop Architects set out to change that when they designed the Peckham Library and Media Centre. The main features are the pod rooms which extend above the roofline of the main library, the extreme cantilever of the upper floors and the six storeys of glass at the rear which is used to display art installations

This SC4 Devotion LEX Legacy Pack features the civic services lot sets (education, health, fire and police) by the legendary BSC BATer SimGoober (SG), which had been available on the Lot Exchange (LEX) at SC4 Devotion. It includes the contents of 14 previously separate downloads (including exclusive contents from the SC4Devotion LEX DVD and CD), however the former SG Civic Education Lots (as SG Education), BSC SG Civic Healthcare Lots (as SG Health) BSC SG Civic Security and Fire Lots (as SG Security on the LEX DVD) collections in this pack are covering around 20 previously separate uploads from multiple exchanges like STEX, the former SimcityKurier/SimcityPlaza and the former PLEX.
After battling a number of technical issues, software incompatibility ultimately shuttered the LEX (at least in its familiar form from 2007 onward) in June 2023, and this package is designed to collect these dependencies in an easy-to-use form, allowing users to install them all in one go, or carefully select exactly which packs they wish to install.
Please note that this pack may receive updates in the near future. Do not redistribute without asking first, mostly as doing so would complicate efforts to properly maintain, update, and provide technical support for the pack.
Bear in mind, SimGoober released and kept some contents on the Simtropolis Exchange (STEX), but then later some of those files were rehosted on the SC4Devotion LEX site in an updated form. This current LEGACY compilation supersedes both the original STEX releases and the used-to-be re-hosted contents from LEX.
