The time has come and finally the almost full collection of the SimGoober contents (STEX, former LEX, LEX DVD and CD exclusives, former PLEX and former SimcityKurier/SimcityPlaza) got released today (with the exception of the agricultural and farming releases which will be part of the BSC Farms Compilation). Over 115 previously separate uploads (not to count the previously released Residential compilation) from LEX got covered this way (and the former SimGoober lot collections were also covering almost 200 uploads from STEX and other exchanges).
As part of the Project ZIP and LEX Restoration efforts, there have been some changes to the original uploads.
- all of the lots have been updated by SC4PIM-X.
- the former Lot Collections, that bundled the several different lot files thematically into single DAT files (these used to be the updated versions of the STEX releases on the LEX), have been broken up and separated. The contents now available again separately based on the original upload in a yet again updated form. The installer still offers the thematical options, but it also offers option to the user not to install certain lots if they did not want it.
- Most of the UI/custom query files have been updated as part of the re-structure of the BSC Essentials; you must have the BSC Essentials v2026a and the updated SG Model packs. As part of the re-restructure and update of the BSC Essentials some of the custom queries have been moved into the respective model packs, and with this release most of the UI files started using the advanced and expanded features of the Query Tool UI Extensions DLL for SimCity 4 (also available on GitHub) by Null45. So if you want to enjoy these extra features, you should download and install that DLL mod.
